Powdered dark brown sugar is obtained from the mixture of dehydrated glucose syrup and sugar.

How to use

Dark sugar finds many uses in confectionery where it can be used as an icing for cream puffs or crepes, or as a filling to fill, for example, chocolates. A classic example of dark sugar is the one found in chocolates with mint or cherry. For optimal use, it is advisable to take the necessary quantity of dark sugar, leave it to soften in the microwave or in a bain-marie at about 40/50 ° C. Once ready it is possible to glaze cakes, cream puffs and fine pastries. At the end of the icing, it is advisable to let it dry in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes. Powdered dark brown sugar is an optimal solution for cold processing.
