Granulated sugar is a classic component for decorations that are bakery or pastry products. The granulated sugar, which does not contain gluten, is produced by extruding the granulated sugar and dried in a special oven.

Features

White sugar in cylindrical and rounded granules with a typical sweet taste, with constant characteristics of color, appearance and presentation, intended for surface use on confectionery food products, mainly with a decorative function. The grain is dry, flowing and not piled up.

The available grain sizes are:

  • Micro sugar granules 1,8 – 2,0 mm
  • Small sugar grains 2,5 – 2,8 mm
  • Medium sugar grains 3.3 – 3.5 mm
  • Large sugar grains 5.3 – 5.5 mm

Availability of cocoa-coated sugar grains on request.

How to use

Sugar grains are widely used in all confectionery preparations that require decoration. For the decorations of products such as biscuits and macaroons we recommend the use of Micro sugar grains, for products such as brioches we recommend the use of Small or Medium sugar grains while for the decorations of products such as cakes, doves or panettone we recommend the use of medium or coarse grain. Gluten-free sugar grains are also free of other allergens.

Product to be kept in a cool and dry place.
